No Fun: the domesticated rock star

~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~:~

Whenever I tease him,
For being so domesticated,
He reminds me that,
That John Lennon,
Was for years a dedicated,
House husband.
A full time dad.
Which was so much more,
Than he ever had.

Yes, the celebrated Mr. L,
He bid that life a fond farewell,
And carried on.
And devoted to his son and wife,
He traded rock for daily strife,
And raising Sean.

And now he’s got no time,
For all the sex and drugs.
He’s got laundry,
And the dishes,
And the vacuuming,
Of floors and rugs.
He’s devoted to his little son.
Though his life is often,
No damn fun.
